Donor Spotlight

This month, we are honored to spotlight Sheila Grumbach, MS, BSN, RN, CNOR and the inspiration behind her commitment to the Foundation.

“Early in my career, the military funded my attendance at the AORN Conference and Expo. However, I bore witness to local Chapter members whose healthcare facilities lacked the financial development of their registered nurses. I was excited to learn of the Foundation support of nurses to attend AORN Expo. The Surgical Conference and Expo is an unparalleled event that perioperative nurses must experience at least once in their career.

Giving to the AORN Foundation has been a natural step for me for well over a decade. Donations are an investment in assuring financial support to sustain perioperative nursing activities, education, and dreams—the future of a diverse and educated perioperative nursing practice.”
